Everything You Need To Know

FESTIVAL LOCATION

The festival is located in downtown Beaverdale; on Beaver Ave and Urbandale Ave between Beaver Crest Dr to the south, Adams Ave to the North. 

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Bike

The festival has great bike connections, with access from the Inter-Urban Trail as well as bike lanes along Beaver Ave.

Drive
Parking is available along side streets in the Beaverdale Neighborhood. Parking is limited - we recommend carpooling or using ride share apps whenever possible.

Uber/Lyft
Ride share apps are a great way to get safely to the festival and back home!  Good drop off locations: 
If coming from the downtown/south/west: 2601 Beaver Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310. 
If coming from the north/east: 2926 Beaver Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310.


Ride
DART Route 5 services the festival for travelers that wish to park at Merle Hay Mall and ride the bus. Please note the bus routes and schedules are subject to change. 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is the festival cashless?

Some areas of the festival are cashless, including the official beer & merchandise tents. Many of our vendors accept both credit card and cash. There are ATMs on site for use at cash-only vendors and activities, including the carnival.

What are the festival hours?

Friday night kicks off at 5pm until 11pm. Saturday goes from 9am until 11pm.

What is the cost to get in?

Zero! Zilch! Nada! Attendance at the festival is free for everyone! (Some events and activities may require a registration fee.)

Will there be food and drink for sale?

Yes! We will have fantastic food, drinks, and beer!
